Get back into a Fall routine with 30 minute Sweet and Sour Pork

This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Weave Made Media®, and  Smithfield®, but all my opinions are my own. #weavemade #GetBacktoPork

Dinner does not have to be difficult when using Smithfield Marinated Pork.  Just by adding a few ingredients and a little bit of time you have dinner on the table in a flash.

Slow Cooker Bean and Ham Soup

Bill and I found an Amish Store while we were in Kentucky.  I was not too impressed with the store as it was not an "actual" Amish store like we usually shop at.  I did however find a new ingredient that I used in this Bean and Ham Soup.

Slow Cooker Cinnamon Applesauce

Bill and I have been on a mini vacation.  We left last Saturday morning and drove to Lexington to spend the day with Billy.  We toured Woodford Reserve Bourbon Distillery and Did wine tasting at Talon Winery.

Peanut Butter Custard

I love any flavor of custard!  A custard is made with egg yolks and sweetend cream whereas pudding is made with sweetend cream and corn starch. I like both but my preference is a nice thick and creamy custard. When I make my ice cream base I also like to start with a custard.  A custard can either be boiled or baked.  For ice cream, I boil it and then cool the mixture in the freezer before putting the custard mixture in my ice cream maker.

Slow Cooker Cheesy Chicken Enchilada Soup

I love to use my slow cooker in the summer so I do not heat up the house with my oven.  I especially love to use my slow cooker in the fall.  The smell of the slow cooker is awesome as it cooks all day. My work desk is just off the kitchen and I get to enjoy the smells all day :)

Fiesta Ravioli

Fall is in the air.  We went from scotching hot a few weekends ago to being cold this past weekend. So cold we had long sleeves and jackets on at the car show on Sunday.  I am also getting in the mood for soups and anything pumpkin!

It is time for my favorite season... Fall!  I love fall weather and fall baking.  Cool mornings and warm afternoons.  Football and bonfires.
